First soccer game & such

Today 'Team Dynamite' took the field.  My lil' Brownies are about a third of the team!
Wyatt took right to it.  Em though wasn't having it.  She's quite shy anymore!  Wyatt scored several goals and really was into the game!  It was fun to watch.  Emmersyn sat out at first but with her daddy by her side she played the game!

Adam went onto the field and personally ran around with Emmersyn to get her more comfortable.
What an awesome daddy she has!  I have to admit that I had to hold in my emotions, my kids are so lucky to have a great dad like that!  It made my heart so happy!

We then went out to eat for breakfast!
It was an awesome morning!

We've been SO busy, like I've said a million times in the last few posts that even though we had offers to go do different things (that we really wanted to do) - Adam & I made the executive decision to sit them all out and have a day and night at home!
After stocking up at Walmart we spend the remainder of the day at home, minus a quick Casey's trip for a treat!
It was a supper good decision.  The kids and I needed some serious down time!  Adam is back to work tomorrow so we got to spend some quality time with him too!  And we still had some fun, just lounging around at home...:)

Having fun with the mullet wig.  Wyatt said Adam looked handsome (Adam says it's his redneck face that goes well with the wig), that I look gross, and Em looks awful.  What a sweety huh?!  The only reason he tried it on was because we made him!  HA!

An evening walk to the kids favorite spot in Benson, the cows!

A little recharge was just what the dr. ordered, ready for another hectic and fun week!

::And I am now current on all my back blogs, I was only 2 months behind! :/
I've literally only turned on the computer to edit photo shoots and pay bills up until now.

Corn Fest 2013!

What's not to love about local carnivals?
Awesomely terrible for you but tastes amazing food, kids running rampad, and seeing people you know!
Despite major meltdowns by the kiddos which had a gruelingly exhausting week, I think we all still had a great time!

Happy 6th Birthday Wyatt!!

Baby boy you turn 6 today.
You have no clue how much you have changed my life!
6 years ago was the first best day I've ever had!

You are growing too fast, I just want it to slow down!  While I love watching you learn and evolve, I can't help but be overcome with bittersweet feelings!
I want to remind myself today to look at you closely and take it all in because you're precious my boy!

I love you to the moon and back again.

This week...

This week is seriously complete madness.
Possibly my busiest week, ever, yet...
I am to the point that my head might explode at any moment!  LOL

I forgot my car keys in the ignition with it turned over, but not on.  Drained my battery & realized when I went to leave to get the kids from school.
Major freak out moment!
Lucily our maintenance man at work came to the rescue quickly and I was able to pick the kids up on time!
I think it's a sign that I need a break though!

My calendar for this week.
I'd be lost without this thing!  I literally have to look at it no less than 5 times per day, just to remember where the bleep I am supposed to be.

Emmersyn after school, totally wiped.
I get it baby girl, this is seriously how we all feel right now.
Like walking zombies, I could serioulsy sleep the whole day away!

Luckily -
a) it's all fun stuff
b) the crazy should calm down with in a few weeks and...
c) Adam is shut down this week, which isn't the greatest but he's been a HUGE help!!

First soccer practice!

My darling kids first soccer practice was tonight!
They are once again on the same team!

Em's first day of 4 year prek

Today Emme-girl started back to pre-k!

Last year this girl did not blink an eye at going to school!
She was so excited to do it because it's what Wyatt was always doing!

I think the changes in brothers schedule threw her for a bit of a loop because she was extremely shy and nervous about going, despite having the same teacher and same room as last year!

As I always say though, All's well that ends well!

She warmed right up and had a great time!

Proud of you E!  Excited to see you grow through this year!  They learn a lot more in 4-year prek!

 

Labor day weekend!

I can't even pretend, this weekend was overwhelming!
Lack of sleep and constant running kind of is a bad set up for the crazy week ahead!
BUT as usual, good company, awesome food, and a loving family is always a recipe for success no matter what!

We had Wyatter's bday party with family on Sunday!  He had a great time with a pinata, tacos (his fav), and lots of neat gifts!  He received the dirt bike above from his grandparents on both sides and us!  He (and everyone else) loved this bike!  It got more than broke in that night from everyone!  It was a blast!
