55 degrees! The kids finally got to ride their big wheels that they got for christmas! They've been literally dying to.
I decided they could ride up to the PO box to get the mail. It was ::such a good idea:: as Emmersyn can't quite reach the peddles so I got to push her 98% of the way!
Anywho, there's a cat with a half a tail that lives up there. The two bars up town feed her as well as the passerby and she is so fat! Emmersyn sees this cat and has a serious case tunnel vision. So much so that she falls all over herself getting out of the vehicle or off her bike. She grabs her face and hugs, squeezes, and smushes this kitty. She meows and talks to her too.
It's totally darling and when she asks me to take her home I have a lot of guilt. But a) our dog would likely eat her and b) I NOT a cat person, probably won't ever be. We used to have cats that Adam used to let outside to play. At the time there was a cat pandemic in our town, strays everywhere. Lo and behold the drug in fleas. My worst nightmare - ever. Not only did I feel like a dirty person but Wyatt and I (before Em was born) essentially moved out until it was under control. I know they are not life threatening but every time one would land on Wyatt I went a little cray cray. LOL
We make lots of visits to our towns cat so she can have her kitty fix but sorry girl, you're gonna have to live in your own for you get one! ;)
